The Mia Foundation Pty Ltd, is a registered company, ACN 139 646 745, established October 2009 by the Directors, Gary Waters and Kathleen Waters, in loving memory of their daughter, Mia Jarvis Waters. The Mia Foundation has been established in the spirit of Mia, to provide funds for educational scholarships to indigenous girls in Australia.
This scholarship will be administered by Yalari, an organisation dedicated to ‘Educating Indigenous Children.’
The Mia Foundation is administered by a board of trustees in accordance with the Mia Foundation Trust Deed. The Mia Foundation board of trustees shall select a candidate for the education scholarship in concert with the Yalari organisation.
